Bones Season 10 release date and spoilers: John Boyd joins the cast as a new FBI agent; episodes to feature Afghan politics and American interests
With "Bones" Season 10 release date set for September 25 on Fox TV, here are some updates on Fox's hit crime-comedy-drama series.
John Boyd, known for his role in the series "24" is joining the cast of "Bones" Season 10 as an upstart FBI agent who will be challenging Special Agent Seeley Booth, played by David Boreanaz.
"Bones" Season 9 ended with Booth being framed and arrested for allegedly murdering three federal agents. "Bones" Season 10 kicks off four months after this incident, with Booth still in prison and and Dr. Temperance "Bones" Brennan (Emily Deschanel) thinking of ways to clear his name.
In an interview, Deschanel says Booth's imprisonment is taking a toll on her character.
"It's really stressful. She's on her own with her child, her husband is in prison," she shared.
The actress also revealed that while Booth will be released eventually, their relationship might not be the same again.
Meanwhile, "Bones" Season 10 spoilers leaked online said that romance will still be in the air. Arastoo Vaziri (Pej Vahdat) and Dr. Camille "Cam" Saroyan" (Tamara Taylor) will be ironing out kinks in their relationship, with hints of a possible pregnancy pushing through.
"Bones" Season 10 is also going global, with one episode raising issues on Afghan politics, American interests and how educated women are treated in both countries.
Watch out for "Bones" Season 10 episode guides coming soon.
