The Art of McCartney CD: A Tribute to Paul McCartney, To Feature Various Artists
Sir Paul McCartney, one of the most successful composers and performers of all time; together with the best band of the world, "The Beatles" is set to be back in the music world with the release of a massive Paul McCartney tribute CD that is due out this coming November 18.
The album is expected to include some 42 songs of the famous English multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter that will feature various other influential and high-profile artists performing his songs such as; Billy Joel (Maybe I'm Amazed and Live and Let Die), Bob Dylan (Things We Said Today), Willie Nelson (Yesterday), Brian Wilson, Smokey Robinson, Alice Cooper, Roger Daltrey, and many more to cover some of the great songs, hit songs and other compositions of the former Beatle.
McCartney's son James also performs in the album, as he plays the keyboard with the Cure for the Beatles song "Hello Goodbye."
This tribute album will definitely bring a lot of memories back for McCartney himself and to thousands of dedicated and long-time fans of the The Beatles ever since the group got formed in Liverpool, England (1960). Great fans of McCartney and The Beatles can surely expect only the best music from wonderful renditions of various artists.
It will be available in various formats; including a two-CD package, standard 34-track CD, vinyl and digital releases, 42-track deluxe sets with books and DVD docu, and deluxe box set with signed artwork and USB drive.
According to reports, LA producer Ralph Sall has long been working on this project starting 2003. The upcoming album is also being strongly supported by the current band of McCartney, which means that McCartney and his band are excited about it as well.
