GoPro Hero 4 News, Release Date: GoPro Hero 4 launch moved to March 2015, said to have higher specs than GoPro Hero 3+

Adventure junkies itching to get their hands on the latest GoPro model will have to wait a bit longer as GoPro Hero 4 release date has been moved to March 2015 from the original October 2014 schedule.

Excitement among fans is high at the moment as GoPro Hero 2, GoPro Hero 3, and GoPro Hero 3+ have been launched during the last quarter of the previous years.

Weighing only 100 grams, GoPro cameras are light, compact, and are a favorite of extreme sports enthusiasts as these can be easily attached to gears such as bikes, surf boards, ski poles, kite boards, helmets, and more. Plus, it comes with a tough, waterproof housing and a flat lens ideal for shooting underwater footage up to 60 meters in depth.

The GoPro team has fine-tuned features fans have loved for the newest model in the family. The GoPro Hero 4 has 4K video capabilities and can shoot at 30 frames per second (twice faster than the GoPro Hero 3+). GoPro Hero 4 has a 13 megapixel photo sensor and wider aperture lens, which will make low light shooting a walk in the park. Other features include multi-exposure and HDR WDR tone mapping, electronic image stabilization, and an improved MCTF.

GoPro Hero 4's 1GHz dual-core A9 ARM Cortex CPU is powerful enough for wireless connection and video streaming functionalities.

Plus, GoPro Hero 4 will have Wi Fi capability and an HDMI port so users can share and upload videos easily.

GoPro Hero 4 price is pegged at US$350.
