Tom Clancy's 'The Division': Ubisoft Massive's Multi-Player Game- Release Date, Gameplay, and More
Tom Clancy's The Division is an upcoming online multi-player action video game developed by Ubisoft Massive, Ubisoft Red Reflections, and Ubisoft Red Storm. It is being developed under the Tom Clancy brand, originally based on his bestselling books on espionage.
The upcoming game is being designed for the Microsoft Windows platform, Playstation 4, and Xbox One game consoles.
It is an open world massively multi-player online action adventure video game where players are allowed to move around freely.
The plot focuses on the players who are part of a group called "The Division", also known as the "Strategic Homeland Division."
This group is said to have been established after a disease outbreak caused the collapse of the United States in just few days.
The game will take place in New York City where lawlessness and chaos spread and caused its ruin. It is now up to the players to save the city and bring back justice. They are given full and direct authority by the United States' President and their mission is to save what remains from this tragedy.
The Division is said to have been inspired by true events and also by the movie I am Legend that starred the well-known Will Smith. It is a post-apocalyptic horror movie where a disease was spread causing a city to fall on its knees.
Tom Clancy's The Division is expected to come out by 2015, although, no specific date has been announced.
