James Bond Latest News: New James Bond Movie to Start Filming Soon - Rumors and Updates
It has been quite a while since we last saw a James Bond movie. Reports has been going around that the creators of the franchise are planning to film a new installment as early as December this year. The latest Bond film is going to star Daniel Craig as Agent 007 for the fourth time. He previously played the role in Casino Royale (2006), Quantum of Solace (2008), and Skyfall (2012).
Sam Mendes is going to direct the latest installment of the James Bond franchise. After his success with Skyfall, there's no doubt he's the right man for the job. Other cast includes Ralph Fiennes as "M", Naomi Harris as Eve Moneypenny, and Ben Whishaw as "Q." No other cast member have been confirmed as of now.
After the success of Skyfall, many anticipated that the next James Bond movie will come out soon, but evidently, that's not the case. It was revealed that director Sam Mendes initially turned down the project because of previous commitments. The producers decided that Sam Mendes was worth the wait.
All the details about the upcoming James Bond movie are being kept under wraps - for now. But according to Mi6, a website dedicated to everything related about James Bond, there are many possible locations for the movie - Rome, Italy, Austrian Alps, and even India.
Of course, a James Bond movie is not complete without a "Bond girl." Several girls have already been screentested - Synnove Macody, Birgitte, Hjort Sorensen, and Ingrid Bolso Berdal.
The screenplay is done by the same team behind Skyfall - John Logan, Neal Purvis and Robert Wade. Producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said that the fourth installment of James Bond is set to be released in October 23, 2015.
