Skillet and Nickelback
GRAMMY-nominated, Dove-award winning and platinum-selling rockers Skillet are winning over sold out crowds in Europe while on tour with Nickelback. As the encore requests pile up night after night, they're also getting more U.S. love. CBS has announced that for the next six months, "Rise" will be featured in regular commercial spots for College Hockey Promos on CBS and the CBS Sports Network.
Also in the U.S., fans are falling in love with the bands two new singles from Rise. "Not Gonna Die" is closing in on becoming a Top 20 hit at Mainstream Active Rock radio, having shot to #4 on Christian Rock Radio in just four weeks. "Fire and Fury" was the most added song and highest debut on the Christian Hot AC chart at #24 last week.
Once Skillet wraps the Nickelback tour in late November, the band will head to Russia and the Ukraine once again before the holidays for several already nearly sold out headline shows. In early 2014, the band will co-headline The Roadshow 2014 tour with Third Day, kicking off January 9 in Sacramento, California.
