iPad Air 2 Update: What and When Can You Expect It
After the iPhone 6, now comes the new iPad Air 2. Rumors have been circulating that Apple is planning to release the latest version of iPad Air, and here are some of the few things that users may want to know.
According to reports, suppliers are preparing to start the production of iPad Air 2. It will be thinner than its predecessor and iPad Air 2 will also have an anti-reflective screen coating and a full-lamination touch panel. And since it's from Apple, it will include a Touch ID fingerprint sensor. The look will almost be the same but there will be some changes. iPad Air 2 will pack the new A8 processor.
iPad 2 release date is rumored to be happening next month, October 2014. It has become a habit of Apple to launch new products after a new product were just released. The specific rumored date for the iPad Air 2 release is on Oct. 21. Apple is planning to unveil two new products at the event - iPad Air 2 and a new iPad mini.
A8 processor is rumored to be inside the iPad Air 2. A Korean news outlet leaked more information about the new iPad Air 2 and it says that, it will sport an 8MP iSight camera but the resolution is rumored to be the same - 2048 x 1536 resolution with 64-bit architecture.
iPad Air 2 Touch ID feature is a first of its kind from Apple. There has always been a rumor that Apple will come up with something like this, but this is a first time users can actually see it, physically. This is a security feature adapting to the lifestyle of the users that Apple caters - on the go and always mobile. It is an added security because only the user's fingerprint can use and open the device.
It has always been the intention of Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, to "shake things up with the iPad line."
