'Homeland Season 4' Premieres: Political Thriller Television Series Homeland debuts its Season 4 this October 2014
'Homeland' is an American political thriller television series, which is based on the Israeli TV series created by Gideon Raff, Hatufim, which means Prisoners of War in English. It chronicles Carrie Mathison, a Central Intelligence Agency officer with bipolar disorder.
The television series is renewed by Showtime for a fourth season last October 22, 2013.
'Homeland Season 4' stars 2013 Golden Globe Award Winner Claire Danes as Carrie Mathison, 2013 Primetime Emmy Award Nominee Rupert Friend as Peter Quinn, 2013 Golden Globes Award Nominee Mandy Patinkin as Saul Berenson, 2014 Critics' Choice Award Tracy Letts as Andrew Lockhart, 2008 Image Award Nominee Nazanin Boniadi as Fara Sherazi, and Laila Robins as Martha Boyd. Aside from Boniadi and Robins, other actors and actresses will have recurring roles including Corey Stoll, Suraj Sharma, Raza Jaffrey, Michael O'Keefe, Nimrat Kaur, Mark Moses, and Art Malik.
The fourth season of the American television drama series brings back Carrie Mathison on a new mission along with Saul Berenson. She has been moved to a new station in the Middle East. Season 4 will be comprised of 12 episodes.
The season four series is produced by 2013 Golden Globe Award Winner Claire Danes. It is also executive produced by 2013 Primetime Emmy Award Nominee Alex Gansa, Howard Gordon, Gideon Raff, Alexander Cary, Chip Johannessen, Meeredith Stiehm, Avi Nir, and Ran Telem. Joe Hobeck, Terry Kelley, Jordan Goldman, and David Latham, served as editors.
The first five episodes of the fourth season have already got their respective titles. Episode One is The Drone Queen. Episode Two is Trylon and Perisphere. Episode Three is Shalwar Kameez. Episode Four is Iron on Fire. Episode Five is About a Boy.
The plot for the fourth season is set in Islamabad and Kabul. However, production and filming began in June 2014, changing the production to Cape Town, South Africa.
The latest trailer was unveiled earlier this month and informed premiere of two Season four episodes.
Homeland is set to have its highly anticipated season 4 debut on October 5, 2014 at Showtime Channel. Fans will be thrilled to unveil exciting plot twists and possibly new characters will be introduced in the season.
