Dumb and Dumber To, Release Date: Follow-Up Of The Movie Dumb And Dumber Has Been In The Making Since February 2011
Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels are reunited as two dumb best friends in the hilarious film, Dumb and Dumber To. Written and directed by the Farrelly, the comedy flick is scheduled to hit theaters in November. The trailer of the comedy film was first seen in the Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show, where the two comediennes were seen reprising their signature roles as 'idiots'.
The Dumb and Dumber To, is a sequel of the original Dumb and Dumber (1994), and includes main casts: Jim Carrey as Lloyd Chrostmas, Jeff Daniels as Harry Dunne, Laurie Holden as Adele Pichlow and Kathleen Turner as Fraida Felcher.
The follow-up of the movie Dumb and Dumber has been in the making since February 2011. Bobby Farrelly earlier declared that he and Peter Farrelly were contemplating a sequel for the successful comedy flick. And on Oct. 26, 2011, the Farrelley brothers finally verified the plan for the film. But with no specific Dumb and Dumber To, Release Date yet.
Although Warner Bros. turned down the sequel, the movie was transferred to other studios including New Line Cinema, Red Granite Pictures, Relativity Media and Conundrum Entertainment. Red Granite financed the production of the comedy film with $35 million budget, while Universal Pictures distributed the movie in North America.
'Dumb and Dumber To' is a fun-filled adventure of the two idiots searching for a kidney that will be used for transplant. The riot never ends when Harry later realized that he has a daughter, and she is the same girl that Llyod is having crush on.
Fans of the 'Hollywood's funny man' could consider the film a major comeback for Carrey after 'Bruce Almighty'. On the other hand, it is a good shift for Daniels while he is seriously doing a dramatic scene at 'The Newsroom' in HBO.
With the film's first trailer, fans of the hit movie, Dumb and Dumber set high expectations as the previous one. However, it is reported that people who have seen it got disappointed seeing a not-so-humorous with the sequel as the original.
On Nov.18, 2013, the follow up movie, Dumb and Dumber To, Release Date: is set to November 14, 2014 in US cinemas and Dec.19 in UK Theaters.
