'Glee' Season 6 Spoilers: Back to the Halls of McKinley High in 2015
Last April 19, 2013, Fox has decided to renew Glee for its fifth and sixth season.
Glee's Season 6 is set to take place in the halls of McKinley High School, where all events began.
The series creator Ryan Murphy has revealed that Season 6 is much about giving tribute to the characters who eventually have become part of his family. This suggests the high probability of the characters coming back to McKinley, if not all. Additionally, Murphy previewed that the show would visit the younger McKinley students who did not graduate last season.
Glee's Season 6 will be having its own surprises, highlighting an "unexpected approach".
According to reports, Vocal Adrenaline is assumed to be spearheaded by former New Directions head coach, Will Schuester. There is also a high possibility that Jessie St. James, the former lead of Vocal Adrenaline, will return to reclaim their organization's prior glory.
As for the Dalton Academy Warblers, the head coach would be either Blaine or Kurt, since they were both club members.
The final season will also feature former New Directions lead singer and Broadway star Rachel Berry as Michelle, as she returns to Lima to launch again the group.
Meanwhile, Naya Rivera, who plays Santana, will be returning as a guest star from being a season regular. This is due to the actress' request.
It could also be expected that fans would like to have a grasp on Idina Menzel's status in the series. Menzel plays Shelby Corcoran, Rachel's mother. She has had absences in Glee episodes since she adopted Quinn and Puck's baby and went out of the district. Will she be able to make one more appearance to the series, with news on what she and the baby have been doing since the past few years?
Fans are definitely excited to track the changes that have happened since few years ago.
According to co-executive producer Michael Hitchcock, the season began filming last September 3, 2014.
Fox has announced that Glee' sixth and final season will end with a much compressed season, consisting of only 13 episodes, from 20s in the past five years.
Catch Glee Season 6, which is set to premiere to Fox in early 2015.
