Star Wars Episode 7: Epic Plot, Cast, and Release Date in Fall 2015
An installment of the epic space film, Star Wars, is to be distributed by Walt Disney Studios and Motion Pictures in 2015.
Star Wars Episode 7 is a much-anticipated American epic space opera film and is envisioned as the seventh installment in the Star Wars film series.
The story plot centers on a trio of young people, joining characters in the previous episodes.
This is intrigued to be first of the third trilogy of Star Wars films, set 30 years since Return of the Jedi. The series, among the seven installments, will also be the first to be produced since Walt Disney Company picked up ownership of Lucasfilm last 2012.
Star Wars Episode 7 cast includes Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia Organa, Harrison Ford as Han Solo, Peter Mayhew as Chewbacca, Anthony Daniels as C-3PO, Kenny Baker as R2-D2.
Other members of the cast include John Boyega, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow.
"I didn't expect (Star Wars) to be a critical success. I thought people would like it, because it took so many elements from movies we were familiar with - pirate, cowboy movies, war movies - and added humor. That's the thing that got me," Mark Hamill revealed in Inquistr.
Aside from highly-anticipated Star Wars Episode 7, Mark Hamill's other projects for next 2015 are Kingsman: The Secret Service and Relatively Super.
The movie's seventh installment started filming in Abu Dhabi and Iceland. Primary photography was done last May 16, 2014 in Abu Dhabi. The second-unit filming will be primarily based at Pinewood Studios located in Iver Health, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom.
The film is plotted to be directed by 2013 ASCAP Award Winner J.J. Abrams, along with 2013 AFI Award Winner Kathleen Kennedy as producer. The movie co-writer is 2001 Distinguished Screenwriter Award Winner Lawrence Kasdan. Kasdan also contributed as the co-writer on The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
Star Wars Episode 7 is set to premiere in theaters and cinemas, including IMAX, in December 18, 2015.
