Supernatural Season 10 Premiere, Reveals, Rumors and Updates: Brother Against Brother this Time Round
One thing is for sure, the world is not coming to an end as concerns Supernatural which is a first since the series is accustomed to providing doomsday predictions due to the potential rise of the monster, Demon or Angel race, depending on what players are involved for the current season, but this time things are very personal, especially for the Winchesters. As Dean is now a Demon, Sam will begin on quest in order to save him from the fate that has befallen him by whatever means necessary and that may entail turning his wrath upon Crowley. This is because of the King of Hell's apparent planning and adoption of the older Winchester as his latest weapon for the forces of darkness. According to one of the executive producers, Jeremy Carver, this will lead many of the characters to consider their individual paths and wonder whether they are their own instruments of doom which is usually a Winchester thing.
It has is always wince inducing when a good guy goes bad especially against their inner selves. The writers were asked about it and they said that it was a lot of fun but also caused quite a lot of winces on the set. Demon Dean may be darker than regular Dean but there is always that question of, "Oh, my goodness, is Dean really doing this?" apparently, it is liberating but also nerve inducing on the other hand.
The other thing that comes out of this is Sam and his loss of his brother. Whenever one of the Winchesters loses the other, the other brother is willing to go as deep as hell to retrieve the doomed one from damnation. This may cause Sam to lose whatever is left of his humanity as well. The unfolding of events and reaction s may cause each brother to question who exactly the bigger monster is in the scheme of things. As things go, we might get Dean back but it is going to be a hell of a road, that's a promise. The series is expected to premiere today on the CW.
