'The Voice' NBC Season 7, Coach Pharrell Williams Gives Interview and Shows Behind the Scenes Footage From His Upcoming Battle Rounds with His Team Mentor Alicia Keys, Watch Here (VIDEO)
"The Voice" Season 7 wrapped up the last night of 'blind auditions' on Monday night and the coaches all completed their 12 person teams. The 'battle rounds' will begin on Monday night (Oct 13) and the competition will be heating up.
NBC has posted a preview video to "The Voice" YouTube page of coach Pharrell Williams getting his team ready for the 'battle rounds' with his team's mentor Alicia Keys. The video, which you can check out above, shares an interview with Pharrell and shows Team Pharrell's reactions as they get to meet and work with Alicia for the first time.
The 'battle rounds' are one of my favorite parts of the show, just watching two contestants go at it with all that they have, it is very exciting. The coaches always seem so torn in their decisions to have to let one of their team go and then the all important 'steal' comes into play. Last year, eventual winner Josh Kaufman actually got stolen by Team usher from Team Adam. So these can be very pivotal decisions.
During the 'battle rounds' country group Little Big Town will be helping out Team Blake. Adam Levine, has asked the iconic Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks to help his team out. The Fleetwood Mac member is about to bring her decades of show business experience to the NBC series.
Gwen Stefani is keeping the mentoring all in the family as she will bring on husband Gavin Rossdale. Rossdale is the lead singer of Bush and he has also had a very successful career as a solo artist. It will be interesting to see what advice Gavin can give to Stefani's team.
"The Voice" Season 7 will have many surprises and special guests including Taylor Swift being announced as a guest mentor for all team, just as Chris Martin (Coldplay) was last season.
You can check out the ''battle rounds' for Season 7 of "The Voice" continuing on Monday and Tuesday night at 8/7c on NBC.
