Motorola's Moto 360 Reviews and Updates: Becoming the Best Smartwatch so far? Battery Life Update Boosts Popularity, Moto 360's News, Specs, and Price
Motorola's Moto 360 smartwatch was officially launched in the US on September 5, with a price of $249. So far, the Motorola's smartwatch is getting good reviews, and with the latest battery update, the smartwatch can now last up to 13 hours, boosting reviews and popularity for the new Moto 360.
"The Moto 360 is the best smart watch I've ever used. While not the perfect gadget, it delivers the best overall wearable experience yet." - gottabemobile review
"Google's biggest Apple Watch rival." - Forbes review
"In terms of design and overall appeal, the Motorola Moto 360 leads the way for Android watches." - PC Pro UK review
Moto 360 is a stainless steel smartwatch, boasting its computerized screen with a 1.56 inch backlit LCD and a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Its circular display has a 320 x 290 resolution with 205 pixels, and its interchangeable wrist band is made of Horween leather. The watch isn't waterproof, though, but it is made water resistant.
The smartwatch will have a power-saving dimmed display, featuring an always-on screen that tells the time like a regular watch, and its battery lasts for a full day per charge. The watch charges wirelessly through a magnetic Qi induction, which is unique to the Motorola brand.
Moto 360 is powered by Texas Instruments OMAP 3 chip, and runs on Google's Android Wear software. It has a 512MB RAM and a 4GB internal storage. It also weighs a little less than the other popular smartwatches.
Moto 360 already has an optical heart rate sensor for a good workout. Aside from measuring your heart rate, this watch can tell you the weather, get directions from Google Maps, count your steps, and give you your important notifications. It also has the voice recognition technology.
Moto 360 works with more than just the Moto X and Moto G. Moto 360 works with Android 4.3, 4.4, and Android L phones and tablets.
