Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Release Date: A Week Delayed for the U.K. Market, Is It Really Because of Consumers' Interest and Demand?
After the huge success that Apple has enjoyed when it released the latest iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models, rumors claiming that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date will be made earlier, than what was initially scheduled, began circulating the World Wide Web. This made many Samsung lovers and loyalists really excited, seeing that the 4th version of the popular Galaxy Note series was something that they looked very much forward to.
However, according to a report from Tech Radar, the scheduled release date of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 for one of the South Korean company's main target markets has been delayed. Instead of being supposedly made available now, the 4th edition of the Galaxy Note smartphone series will hit the shelves a week from now, on the 17th of October to be specific. The Galaxy smartphone will be released in United Kingdom together with the residents of the United States.
As BGR has also reported, Samsung's initial plan was to launch the Galaxy Note 4 in the U.K. market, Friday, October 10, 2014. However, there seems to have been an issue with the smartphone's purported popularity, which is why the South Korean telecoms company had to delay its release. According to the same report, Samsung has posted an update regarding the smartphone's availability in the U.K. market via its U.K. Twitter account, tweeting that, "Due to the amazing interest and demand for the Galaxy Note 4, the device will now go on sale in the UK from the 17th October."

According to BGR, there has been no further explanation yet as to what the "amazing interest and demand" actually refers to. It was also pointed out by the site that while the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has been offered by the telecoms manufacturing company since the 19th of September in the United Kingdom market for preorders, it has not given any information on exact sales numbers yet.
Samsung has confirmed that the release of the Galaxy Note 4 edition to United Kingdom residents will not be until the 17th of October, which is less than 7 days away, according to Sam Mobile. Sam Mobile asked Samsung directly what happened and why the release of the latest phablet flagship was delayed and as what the other websites have reported, it was because of the interest and the demand for the smartphone that made it decide to push back the release date a week from its scheduled October 10 availability.
