"American Idol" alum and fan favorite, Angie Miller, is finally set to release her debut solo album after a year and a half being off of the show. She has released a new single "Lost in the Sound", which will be featured on the new album. You can get a first listen to the song above.
"'Lost in the Sound' is easily one of my favorite songs on Weathered," Angie shared with THR. "I love how hard and powerful the chorus hits, as well as the interesting melodies and grooves in the verses. But more importantly, I love how transparent I was in this song."
Miller's new album is titled Weathered and will be officially releasing on November 12th.
Angie Miller made it into the Top 3 of Season 12 of FOX's "American Idol" and became one of the most popular contestants on the show in recent years. Her surprising exit during the Top 3 was one of the most talked about moments of the season as many expected her to win.
Her popularity catapulted on the show when she took the risk to perform her original song "You Set Me Free" and the judges and fans alike loved it. She was basically a front runner for the rest of the season.
Unfortunately, for Angie Miller fans, she has kept pretty quiet in the last year. She has sang the national anthem at a few sports games and did a short Christmas tour with popular Christian artist, Michael W. Smith. Other then that though, she hadn't been performing much and more importantly, fans were wondering when she would actually be releasing music.
Well, now the wait is almost over and fans can get excited about picked up Weathered next month.
