'Half Life 3' Release Date Delayed: When Is the Game Title Really Going to Come Out?
If you are an avid fan of "Half Life," then you are just one of the thousands of other people waiting for the game to finally be launched. Unfortunately, if you have done your research for information about the "Half Life 3" release date, all you probably got were rumors, myths, and speculations. With the release date of "Half Life 3" which haven't been announced, it only makes complete sense that more and more people are asking the question: "When is the game title really coming out?"
As Breathe Cast has reported, during the E3 2014 event, people were expecting that Valve Corporation would give some details about the upcoming "Half Life 3," especially the specific date that it will be made available to the public. However, the company has disappointed thousands of gamers and fans because no other piece of information was discussed aside from the game is being developed. This message along the lines gave hope to "Half Life" followers.
Movie Pilot made it apparent that "Half Life" fans are enraged by the decision of the Valve Corporation to be mum on the subject. Canadian gamers went on the streets with placards in the form of cardboards protesting against the continuous delay on the release of the game.
In addition, it also talked about how the delay of "Half Life 3" release date is linked to the company focusing on Steam. This was after David Newel of the Valve Corporation released a statement saying that they tried to "do Steam" and that some people thought that this "was a really bad idea." Despite all of these though, the company still kept on pushing back the launch of the third installment of the very popular game title.
According to Christian Post, while the scheduled "Half Life 3" release date is still shrouded in mystery, it is possible that the game is still in development. The only thing known about the game is that Minh Le, one of the former employees of Valve Corporation, said that the third installment of the series was currently being developed.
