The company added that the Whisper has not violated any rights of privacy among its users and followers.
Meanwhile, online news media BuzzFeed said that it has temporarily closed a content partnership with Whisper. This is until issues of privacy concerns will be addressed immediately. This is for Whisper to clarify the security measures it has as far as protecting the private details of its users.
Another online media site, Fusion, is said to do the same closure of a partnership with Whisper.
Upon during its release, Whisper takes pride of its main feature which is allowing its users to post anything online with anonymous identity. This has been the major come-on of Whisper as many people want to post their secrets, emotions, anger and other innermost thoughts without using their real names.
