Family Force 5’s Single “Sweep the Leg” Debuts at #1 on iTunes’ Christian and Gospel Chart

Alternative Pop/Rock band Family Force 5's newest single "Sweep the Leg" debuts at #1 on iTunes' Christian and Gospel Chart.
"Sweep The Leg" is the newest single to come off the band's highly anticipated, first studio album in three years, "Time Stands Still." The album will be released on Aug. 5 from Word Entertainment. Though the buzz is already on the new single, the album's other single "Let It Be Love" continues its ascent on the charts. These are two out of the fifteen songs from the album produced by Riley Friesen (Vota, Staggerford) and Seth Mosley (Newsboys, for KING & COUNTRY).
Formed in Atlanta in the summer of 2005, Family Force 5 consists of Derek Mount ("Chap Stique" / guitar, vocals), Jacob Olds ("Crouton" / vocals, drums), Joshua Olds ("Fatty" / bass, vocals), Nathan Currin ("Nadaddy" / keyboards, vocals, percussion) and Teddy Boldt ("Hollywood" / drums, percussion). The band has not only joined The Vans Warped Tour and headlined The Alternative Press Tour, but also performed at Sonisphere Festival, Bamboozle Festival, Rock and Worship Roadshow, Parachute Festival and toured with artists such as TobyMac, Cobra Starship and Flyleaf.
Throughout the summer, Family Force 5 will be taking the new music and fan favorites on the road. They will be featured at numerous festivals, theaters and arenas internationally, including its Creation Northeast appearance 6/27, Seaside Festival (7/4, Tvedestrand, Norway), Gullbranna Fest (7/5, Halmstad, Sweden), Lifest (7/11, Oshkosh, WI), Sonshine Festival (7/17, Willmar, MN), Water For Africa (7/26 Atlanta, Blood:Water Mission benefit), Creation Northwest (8/2, Kennewick, WA), Rock The Desert (8/8-9, Midland, TX) and many more.
