Michael Schumacher Latest Condition and Rumors: Good Progress Projected for Racer as he is Transferred to Residence

Michael Schumacher recently left the private clinic at Lausanne Switzerland to continue with his recovery program at his residence where Corinna has set up a sort of rehab center for him. According to racer's manager, Sabine Kehm, the Formula 1 legend still has a long way to go his recovery. "Considering the severe injuries he suffered, progress has been made in the past weeks and months. There is still, however, a long and difficult road ahead." Kehm said in a statement.

Schumy had been in the Swiss hospital after being transferred from a medical facility in France where he was placed in an induced coma after two brain surgeries. The surgeries were necessary to remove two major blood clots which had formed in his brain and created a lot of pressure. The coma lasted for six months which was enough time for the pressure to reduce. At this time, he is not yet able to talk, but those who are close to him claim that he is able to communicate by blinking or gripping using his finger as confirmation or no.

Schumacher's manager extended his gratitude to the entire team of the CHUV Lausanne facility which happens to be just 24 miles from Schumy's residence hence the choice. The family has opted to keep him out of the limelight and even asked people not to visit him at the medical facility as per Corinna's requests. In fact Schumacher's representative stated, "We ask the privacy of Michael's family continue to be respected, and that speculation about his state of health is avoided." In other news it seems that his son Mick is also well on his way to becoming a contender in the formula 1 racing world with his most recent win. We can expect great things from Mick and hope for a speedy recovery from Schumacher himself who is still the ambassador for Daimler Formula 1.
